IPCI-USA Bows

American bow makers have responded to IPCI-USA’s funding needs by coming together to make a series of collaborative bows that will be donated to the organization. A number of violin shops have joined the effort, volunteering to sell these bows and donate their sales commission. This means that when one of these bows is purchased, 100% of the money will go to IPCI and pernambuco conservation.

We are still at the beginning of this project. Twenty five makers have organized themselves into 10 groups with the plan of each group producing one bow. Several more makers have responded with the intent to do something for this effort, but are not yet organized into a bow making group.

Information about these bows will be posted to this page as details become available. This information will include which makers have made what types of bows, and where they are available. Stay tuned for more developments in this inspiring show of support by our bow makers and violin shops for pernambuco conservation.
